Eve is a daughter of Trevor Eve (actor) and Sharon Maughan, a writer. She was raised both in Los Angeles, California and in the United Kingdom. She attended Bedales School and then took her A-levels at Westminster School in London. Following a gap year she attended the Beverly Hills Playhouse before studying English at St Catherine's College Oxford. While in Oxford university, she performed in student productions of An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers. (which was on tour with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.) Scenes from an Execution. and The Colour of Justice. Eve's TV credits include the BBC The Rotters Club series The Rotters Club Poirot Hawking along with the feature film Stage Beauty (2004). Eve was a key character in two 2006 films: Starter for 10 and Big Nothing (with both she and her co-star Simon Pegg using American accents). The first half of 2006 she was in India and working on a mini-series drama known as Losing Gemma. The series revolves around backpackers. Eve was in Trevor Nunn's two plays. Eve starred on stage in Rock n Roll a Tom Stoppard new production that was staged in the Royal Court Theatre, and later reprised the character on Broadway in 2007. At the Whatsonstage.com Theatregoers' choice Awards the actress was awarded a nomination for best actor supporting her role. Roxane played the role of Roxane in the 2009 stage production Cyrano de Bergerac by Chichester Festival Theatre. Rhone Mitra....................Rhona Mitra was born on August 9 1976 in Hampstead London. Her ethnicity is diverse and is the child of an Indo British father, Anthony Mitra (of British descent) and an Irish mother Nora Downey. English actor Guyan Mitra is a mother to an older sister and a younger one. Jason Mitra was her father. The actress has a younger brother who is a professional travel writer whose articles appear in Lonely Planet magazine and The Sunday Times.
