Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou, the oldest of her four siblings, was born on the 8th of August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de-Domme. Her parents, who have a doctor for teeth and a school teacher, supported and encouraged her passion for acting as well as theatre. Her initial dream of becoming a specialist in monkeys was surpassed by her desire to learn about drama and theater. A quick and successful start to success as well as a swift rise in fame made her a promising young actor. Her career began in earnest in 1999 when she started acting professionally. In the years following her studies, Tautou was a participant in the French talent scouting television programme Jeunes Premiers. Tautou went to church and Institut Catholique de Paris during her youth, however she is now separating herself from the aforementioned societal influences. She has pursued a modeling career alongside her acting career and is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel is often called the Chanel Muse. The focus of her photography is celebrity, fame and the press that scrutinised her following her rise to fame as Amelie. There are also several photographs that show herself. Audrey Tautou's debut role, as Amelie Poulain's lead actor in Le Fabuleux d'Amelie poulain, earned the actress international fame. Amelie made international waves in the field of box office, and was awarded awards across the world. It is the most successful French language film to be released in the US. The following year, she appeared in British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Jeunet The long day of the fiancailles. After that, Tautou went to Hollywood to work in Hollywood, where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
