Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14th 1964, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. Her current age in 58. Sandra Kolber was her mother and Gene Kolber was her father. Her school was Sandy Run Middle School in Dresher Pennsylvania and is a 1982 graduate of the Pennsylvania's Upper Dublin High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from the University of Miami, in 1986. When she was still at university, she was offered in the position of sports director at Dynamic Cable Coral Gables Florida. In addition, she was in the company for two additional years between 1984 and 1986. She was also a member of the University of Miami water skiing team during this time. In her youth Plaza took part in local theatres in Wilmington acting, performing improv, as well as directing one-act theatre. She moved from Wilmington to New York City after high school to study television and film production at New York University Tisch School of the Arts and took classes in improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She suffered an aphasia at age 20, a temporary condition that hinders her ability to express and understand the language.
