Felicity Jones was born and raised in the UK and is primarily known for the actress who appeared as Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones has been working in plays, films and TV since she was 12 years old. She started her career as a TV actress on The Treasure Seekers. In the following film, The Worst Witch (a television series), she appeared as Ethel Hallow. The sequel Weirdsisters college also featured her. She also played Young Ruth in her first film Flashbacks of a Fool and later on, she starred in many movies. The actress gained acclaim for her acting in movies including The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. But it was her performance in The Theory of Everything' which earned the actress the Oscar nomination the very first time. Jones received high praise from both critics and audiences as she played Hawking's ex-wife, in the Stephen Hawking biopic. Inferno was the second film in which she appeared, which starred Tom Hanks. In 2016, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles selected Jones to be the British Artist of The Year for her talent and contributions to cinema.
